Job summary

Target is seeking a General Merchandise Team Leader in Carmel, IN to lead daily operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will manage tasks such as replenishment, pricing, signing, and floor presentation while coaching a team of hourly associates.

Ideal candidates bring high school diploma or equivalent and a willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends. Training equips you to lead, manage stock, and support guest services across in-store operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Age 18 or older
• Previous retail experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Deliver guest experience commitments and maintain a friendly store environment.
• Lead daily/weekly workload to meet department and store sales goals.
• Coach and supervise hourly team members, including interviewing and development.
• Ensure product availability, pricing accuracy, and signage on the sales floor.
• Assist with pick, pack, and ship fulfillment tasks and upkeep of stock levels.
