Job summary

Call Your Mother in Miami is seeking a General Manager to run daily operations, lead a team, and drive profitability for a busy bagel deli. The GM is the shop’s CEO, responsible for guest experience, food quality, and financial health while upholding CYM values.

You’ll manage scheduling, recruiting, coaching, and performance evaluations, with a focus on hospitality, safety, and budget adherence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of restaurant management experience.
• Strong understanding of P&L, COGS, labor, scheduling.
• ServSafe Manager Certification.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operations of the shop—from opening to closing—meeting CYM’s standards.
• Proactively solve problems and improve shop efficiency.
• Lead supervisors and team to deliver hospitality and CYM’s BIG V.I.B.E.S.
• Build a positive, high-performing work environment through teamwork and accountability.
• Maintain operational standards with checklists, recipes, and CYM systems.
• Oversee maintenance, sanitation, and safe storage of equipment.
• Manage food & beverage inventory, ordering, and budgeting.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, train, coach, and evaluate staff.
• Create schedules ensuring coverage for all shifts, including weekends.
