Job summary

Call Your Mother Deli is seeking a General Manager based in Miami to lead shop operations, guest experience, and team development. You will manage kitchen and front-of-house, drive profitability, and uphold CYM values while mentoring staff.

You will oversee P&L, scheduling, training, and standards, with a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves leadership style. Expect weekends, holidays, and travel between CYM locations in the DMV region as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years restaurant management experience
• Strong understanding of P&L, COGS, labor, scheduling, and process improvement
• Hold a current ServSafe Manager Food Safety Certification
• Able to balance cost, team needs, and daily operations
• Excellent communication and leadership under pressure

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operations from opening to close, upholding CYM standards
• Solve problems, remove obstacles, improve efficiency and organization
• Lead supervisors and staff to deliver exceptional hospitality
• Build a positive, high-performing work environment through teamwork and accountability
• Ensure checklists, recipes, and CYM systems are followed consistently
• Oversee equipment maintenance, safety, and cleanliness
• Manage inventory, ordering, budgeting, and progress toward goals
• Recruit, hire, train, coach, and evaluate performance
• Create schedules that optimize staffing and guest experience
• Step in during emergencies and make decisions in the shop's best interest
• Work in the shop five days a week and support multiple locations as needed
