Job summary

Proof of the Pudding, in partnership with Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter in Perry, GA, seeks an experienced General Manager to lead day-to-day operations of concessions and catering for year-round events.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on leadership, P&L accountability, budgeting and forecasting experience, strong vendor coordination, and a focus on safety, sanitation, and team development to deliver premium guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Hospitality, Management, or Culinary related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Sports & Entertainment Hospitality Operations, Event Coordination, Operations Supervisor, or equivalent.
• Experience in a high-volume events venue is necessary.
• Must live near or be willing to relocate to Perry, GA.

Responsibilities

• Manage full P&L accountability, budgeting, forecasting, expense control, and financial performance analysis.
• Concessions and beverage management for year-round scheduled events, including POS installation, planning, inventory, and event execution.
• Supervise preparation and service of food and beverages and ensure bar policies are followed.
• Lead and develop the concessions team, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Coordinate logistics with 3rd party vendors and maintain vendor relationships.
