Job summary

WorkSource Oregon is seeking a motivated sales professional to grow our business in glulam, engineered wood products, and building materials. The ideal candidate understands the market, builds strong customer relationships, and brings hands-on experience with structural wood products.

You will develop relationships with builders, contractors, distributors, and industry partners, pursue new opportunities, provide product knowledge, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate orders,

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's license and clean driving record.
• At least 5 years Direct sales experience (in glulam is highly preferred).
• Experience in engineered wood products, lumber, structural wood products, or related building material sales will also be strongly considered.
• Solid understanding of the construction industry, including common products, applications, and customer workflows.
• Established customer relationships within the building materials or wood products sector.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage leads, follow-ups, and sales pipelines effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with builders, contractors, distributors, and other industry partners.
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the glulam and engineered wood product markets.
• Provide product knowledge, support, and guidance to customers.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate order processing, delivery coordination, and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
