Job summary

Disney Entertainment’s YouTube Localization Manager will lead end-to-end localization workflows for Disney’s global YouTube content portfolio. You’ll own asset intake through delivery, partnering with Mastering and regional teams to ensure technical readiness and quality.

Success requires strong project management, cross-functional collaboration, and a proactive approach to automation and process improvement in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in audiovisual localization or digital media operations.
• Experience managing localization vendors and multi-language projects.
• Strong project management, budgeting, scheduling and stakeholder communication.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience; localization or project management certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end localization operations for Disney Entertainment's YouTube content portfolio.
• Manage localization schedules, milestones, budgets, and delivery timelines across multiple concurrent productions.
• Coordinate the creation and delivery of localized dubbing, subtitling, accessibility assets, translated metadata, titles, graphics, and marketing materials.
• Perform and oversee quality control to ensure localized assets meet standards.
• Route assets through internal review and approval workflows with stakeholder feedback.
• Manage localization budgets, purchase orders, invoicing, and forecasting with Finance and Operations.
• Maintain asset repositories, metadata, documentation, and reporting across Airtable, Box, and internal systems.
• Coordinate distribution of localized assets to regional publishing partners.
