Job summary

Disney is seeking a Manager, YouTube Localization to lead end-to-end localization workflows for Disney Entertainment's global YouTube portfolio, from asset intake to final delivery, working with the Mastering team to ensure assets are technically delivery-ready.

You will partner with internal creative teams, regional stakeholders, and external localization vendors, driving process improvements and exploring automation and AI-enabled solutions to stay ahead of evolving priorities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in audiovisual localization or digital media operations.
• Experience managing localization vendors and cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of dubbing, subtitling, metadata localization, and QA.
• Strong project management and budgeting abilities.
• Familiarity with Airtable, Box, Frame.io, and similar tools.
• Knowledge of AI-assisted localization technologies is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end localization operations for YouTube content.
• Manage schedules, budgets, and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate dubbing, subtitling, and metadata localization.
• Ensure assets meet technical specs and quality standards.
• Liaise with regional stakeholders and external vendors.
• Mentor team and drive process improvements.
• Track and report localization progress and risks.
