Job summary

Perplexity is seeking a Global Workplace Business Operations Lead to scale our Workplace Experience team across global offices. You will set operating frameworks, manage portfolio delivery, and own cross-functional program execution with a hands-on, data-driven approach.

You will partner with Finance on forecasts, lead internal capital projects, and establish governance, controls and reporting to support growth.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in workplace business operations, corporate real estate, facilities programs or related fields.
• Proven project and program management capabilities with delivery ownership.
• Experience delivering office buildouts, relocations or capital improvements as internal owner.
• Strong forecasting, reporting and data-analysis skills.
• Experience building operating frameworks with governance and performance measures.
• Leadership across organizational boundaries and ability to align multiple partners.
• Hands-on owner with ability to manage both strategy and detail.

Responsibilities

• Own the Workplace operating framework: lead planning, translate strategy into priorities, set decision rights and success metrics.
• Direct internal and external PMs for capital initiatives, align workstreams and ensure schedule, cost, quality and readiness.
• Establish lease administration, obligation tracking and portfolio reporting with clear ownership.
• Drive financial planning: forecasts, commitments, actuals, variance analysis, scenario assessment.
• Define systems and reporting roadmap for workplace tools (e.g., Envoy) and improve data quality.
• Lead EHS program governance with risk management and remediation oversight across offices.
• Develop project playbooks, governance and handover criteria; align design standards and occupancy requirements.
• Serve as senior operating partner: cross-functional reviews, clear recommendations, escalation as needed.
