Job summary

Perplexity is seeking a Global Workplace Business Operations Lead to scale its Workplace Experience team across global offices. You will set the operating framework, own planning, and oversee cross-functional program delivery with hands-on execution.

You will lead capital-project delivery, portfolio controls, and financial planning in partnership with Finance, while guiding governance, reporting, and system improvements for efficient operations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in workplace operations, corporate real estate, facilities programs or a closely related field.
• Experience delivering multi-site office projects, relocations or capital improvements.
• Strong financial and analytical judgment; able to translate portfolio data into resource or investment recommendations.
• Proven ability to establish planning, governance and performance measures for a growing function.
• Leadership across organizational boundaries with credible risk communication to senior leaders.
• Hands-on owner who can manage both portfolio trade-offs and project details.
• Helpful but not required: international portfolio experience or relevant PM credentials.

Responsibilities

• Own the Workplace operating framework including annual and quarterly planning, prioritization and resource plans.
• Lead internal capital-project delivery across office openings and refreshes with external PMs.
• Own portfolio controls and insights: lease administration, obligation tracking and reporting.
• Drive financial planning and performance with forecasts, actuals and variance analysis.
• Set systems and reporting roadmap for workplace tools (e.g., Envoy) and data quality improvements.
• Lead EHS program governance and risk remediation across offices and remote locations.
• Set delivery standards and handover criteria, ensuring project transfer to local operations.
• Serve as a senior operating partner, driving cross-functional reviews and accountability.
