Job summary

ClickHouse is seeking a Sr. Manager, Global Workplaces to build our workplace function from the ground up.

You will design policies, standards, and operating models that scale across regions and balance remote-first with in-person needs. You will oversee global office operations for a growing footprint, manage vendor relationships, and own the global workplace budget while partnering with Procurement, People, IT, Security, and Finance to align space planning and headcount.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in workplace, facilities, corporate real estate, or global office operations; ideally built a function from scratch.
• Experience supporting a globally distributed organization with multiple small offices across regions.
• Strong preference for remote-first culture with thoughtful in-person engagement.
• Proven vendor management and contract negotiation experience with Procurement partnership.
• Experience managing a budget and driving operational efficiencies.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate across regions/time zones.

Responsibilities

• Design and stand up ClickHouse's global workplace function from scratch with policies and processes.
• Oversee day-to-day operations for small regional offices and ensure consistent experience.
• Develop a remote-first strategy that enables high-value in-person hubs and gatherings.
• Lead site selection, buildout, and launch of new offices with Finance, Legal and Procurement.
• Own vendor relationships across regions; negotiate contracts and manage sourcing.
• Partner with People, IT, Security, Finance on space planning and onboarding logistics.
• Own the global workplace budget and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Create scalable workplace policies: health/safety, visitor management, security, access.
• Support company gatherings to reinforce culture and connection across regions.
• Serve as primary point of contact for office-related issues and escalations.
