Job summary
Mars is seeking a Global Workforce Planning & Optimization Strategist to establish and evolve our enterprise SWP capability within the newly formed COE. You will design governance, frameworks, and metrics, balancing centralized guidance with decentralized execution across Mars units.
Lead enterprise-wide SWP initiatives and partner with finance, strategy, and people analytics to drive proactive, data-driven decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required in HR, OD, Business, Strategy, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 10+ years in strategic workforce planning, transformation, or organizational design with global scope.
- Experience building enterprise SWP frameworks in large, matrixed organizations.
- Familiarity with future of work concepts, AI-enabled workforce, and workforce data ecosystems.
- Experience with WFP platforms and HR/Finance data integration.
Responsibilities
- Set direction for enterprise SWP including vision, priorities, and roadmap.
- Establish enterprise WFP framework with governance, processes, roles, and metrics.
- Integrate WFP into financial planning, risk management, and strategic reviews.
- Lead scenario-based modeling and advisor on workforce impact of AI and automation.
- Translate quantitative analysis into executive-ready narratives and actions.
- Advise on data and technology requirements for SWP solutions (Workday Adaptive, Anaplan, OrgVue, Visier).
