Carta’s Workday People Systems team is seeking a senior Workday Payroll/HCM Manager to shape payroll across 2,000+ employees globally. You’ll own configuration, ensure accuracy and compliance, and build scalable integrations with Core HCM, Time Tracking, and Benefits.

You’ll collaborate with HRIS, Integrations, and People teams to translate requirements into system settings. Ideal candidates have 6–8+ years in Workday Payroll configuration, strong Core HCM knowledge, and a focus on regulatory

Qualifikationen

• 6-8+ years of hands‑on Workday Payroll configuration experience

Aufgaben

• Own Payroll Configuration: Lead the configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the Workday Payroll module, ensuring accurate calculations, earnings, deductions, and pay results every pay cycle
• Build Scalable Integration: Design payroll configuration that integrates with Core HCM, Time Tracking, Absence, Compensation, and Benefits
• Own the Stakeholder Relationship: Serve as the primary liaison between Payroll and People teams, translating business needs into Workday configuration
• Anchor in Core HCM: Maintain strong knowledge of Core HCM — organizations, staffing, and processes to align payroll decisions
• Drive Testing & Releases: Lead payroll-impact analysis, regression testing, and validation for Workday releases and configuration changes
• Troubleshoot & Resolve: Escalation point for payroll config issues, diagnose root causes and fixes
• Document & Govern: Maintain configuration documentation and governance for auditable setups
