GE Vernova aims to hire a Wind Machine Head Engineering Leader to direct the global Machine Head subsystem across products. The role leads a worldwide engineering organization and oversees the lifecycle from design through validation and field performance.

Responsibilities focus on driving product quality, reliability, and performance, while shaping strategy for continuous improvement and cost reduction through cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of engineering experience.
• 5+ years of leadership experience.
• 5+ years Wind industry experience.
• Travel up to 30% may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develop the vision, set strategic priorities, and ensure alignment across the global Machine Head engineering team.
• Drive a culture that ensures delivers outstanding product quality across availability, reliability, and performance targets.
• Formulate and execute the strategy for continuous improvement of systems, tools, methods, and processes.
• Drive a world class product quality culture with timely resolution of quality/performance issues and feedback loop closure.
• Lead a large global Engineering team with responsibility for strategy, culture, and execution.
• Own a significant engineering operating and NPI/NTI investment budget.
• Partner with cross-functional partners to drive year over year product cost savings.
• Develop and execute a differentiated subsystem technology strategy from design through customer fulfillment.
• Drives modularity, reusable components, and best practices across platforms.
