GE Vernova is seeking a seasoned mechanical engineer to contribute to the Wind Global Machine Head Driveline subsystem. You will help design, analyze, and validate main bearing components for utility-scale wind turbines, guiding them from concept through mature production.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, design for manufacturability, and continuous improvement with a focus on reliability, cost reduction, and adoption of new technology to strengthen GE Vernova’s wind portfolio.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Extensive mechanical analysis and design experience.
• Working knowledge of technical drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing.
• Experience with 3D-CAD tools like Unigraphics / Siemens NX.

Aufgaben

• Execute projects pertaining to new product introduction and field issue resolution with a focus on quality and reliability.
• Design build-to-spec main bearings for wind turbines including component specification design and analysis.
• Develop testing/validation plans to prove component function and reliability.
• Collaborate across functions to improve product quality and yield.
• Drive cost saving ideas and identify design-related corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
