GE Vernova is seeking a Senior Engineer - Mechanical Engineering to join the Wind Machines Head Engineering team. You will design mechanical components for large turbine systems and guide cross-functional teams through lifecycle management from concept to field support.

You will mentor engineers, conduct trade studies, and ensure high-quality drawings, BoMs and specs aligned with GE standards and industry practices.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering or related field.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and project management skills.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.
• Legal authorization to work in the US; no visa sponsorship.

Responsabilités

• Design engineering solutions for mechanical structural parts of a wind turbine.
• Collaborate with other GE Vernova Wind teams to coordinate interfaces between mechanical systems.
• Develop drawings and specification requirements for sourcing components.
• Perform risk assessment and validation testing to mitigate risks.
• Guide and mentor team in technical problem solving and lifecycle management.
• Integrate components into turbine design while satisfying requirements.
• Maintain systems thinking and manage design tool maintenance and documentation.
• Own risk identification, dFMEA and verification activities.
