Job summary

Oura is seeking a Staff Manager of Global Trade Compliance to lead our global program across regions and align regulatory requirements with our growth. You will partner with Sales, Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, and external partners to ensure seamless compliance.

A seasoned leader with 8+ years in international trade, EAR/ITAR knowledge, and experience in wearable tech is essential; travel up to 15% is expected. Governance and process improvements will be core to this role.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Advanced knowledge of international trade regulations (EAR/ITAR).
• Willingness to travel up to 15%.
• Ability to work with executive leadership in a global environment.
• Experience building governance/compliance infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive global trade compliance roadmap.
• Stay updated on US, European, and Asian trade rules and sanctions.
• Identify and mitigate compliance risks; monitor regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, and external partners.
• Conduct internal audits and drive continuous improvement of compliance standards.
• Coordinate commodity jurisdiction and classification activities.
• Oversee export/import licensing processes and align with licenses/agreements.
• Support reporting and analysis of trade compliance data and metrics.
• Ensure hazmat compliance training, documentation, and certification.
