Job summary

DEX in Camarillo, CA is seeking a Vice President of Supplier Management to own end-to-end third-party vendor lifecycle, supplier governance, and strategic sourcing. You will lead a high-performing team and collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Technology executives to align supplier capability with enterprise goals.

This is a full-time onsite role requiring deep experience in executive supplier management, ERP proficiency, and a proven track record of cost savings and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, finance, or related field; MBA or certifications preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, vendor/supplier management, procurement, or third‑party risk, with at least 5 years in an executive or senior leadership capacity.
• Proven track record managing large multi‑million or billion‑dollar supplier spends and delivering year‑over‑year cost savings.
• Deep familiarity with ERP software, procurement platforms, and data analytics/reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintains relationship with vendors or suppliers and negotiates contracts for major purchases.
• Director reviews vendor quality and maintains price controls and inventory flows to identify and implement efficient purchasing programs
• Supervisory Responsibility – Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Management Responsibility – Managing all activities for the department in order to meet or exceed company goals. Recruit and train new employees.
• Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.
