DRiV Incorporated in Michigan seeks a Vice President of Purchasing to lead the global sourcing organization and set supplier management as a strategic growth driver for margin, cash flow, and continuity.

This executive will develop and execute multi-year strategies across direct materials, components, and tooling, build a high-performing team, and partner with Engineering, Operations, and Finance to enable new product introductions and cost targets.

Qualifikationen

• 15+ years of progressive purchasing or strategic sourcing with senior leadership in a global manufacturing organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Automotive OEM/aftermarket or complex manufacturing experience strongly preferred.

Aufgaben

• Develop and execute a multi-year global purchasing strategy aligned with business priorities.
• Own material cost savings, sourcing productivity, and working-capital improvements.
• Lead global category and supplier strategies to optimize total cost, quality, and risk.
• Build a resilient supply base with supplier segmentation and scorecards.
• Lead strategic negotiations and major commercial agreements with governance.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Finance to support NPI, VE, make-vs-buy, and cost targets.
• Strengthen supplier risk management, continuity planning, and alternate sourcing.
• Establish global purchasing governance and executive reporting for visibility.
• Build, develop, and retain a high-performing global purchasing team.
• Represent Purchasing in executive reviews, budgeting, and major decisions.
