Job summary

Signant Health is seeking an accomplished VP of Risk & Compliance to lead and evolve a global compliance program. You will champion a strong culture of ethics and accountability, ensure employee understanding of responsibilities, and collaborate with executive leadership and the Board.

You will oversee risk, ESG, privacy, information security, policy governance, and client audits, including acting as the organization’s DPO and guiding safeguards across the company’s operations worldwide.

Qualifications

• Must be familiar with compliance standards for the industry
• Must have extensive knowledge of strategies to build up preventative measures against potential losses
• Must have proven leadership and management abilities
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must possess knowledge of privacy, information security, GRC, policy/process governance, compliance, audits, quality management, ERM, and ESG
• Must have strong interpersonal skills to manage large teams
• Must be a problem solver and risk taker

Responsibilities

• Identify threats to financial, operational, and reputational stability of the company
• Provide oversight related to Governance, Risk, and Compliance remit
• Oversee all documentation related to risk assessments and SOP reviews
• Serve as Senior Leader sponsor of the overall Quality Management function
• Maintain strong understanding of global privacy regulations and laws
• Perform duties as registered Data Protection Officer
• Develop a culture of compliance across the organization
• Lead and build a global team to implement the global compliance program
• Develop, revise, and update policies to ensure compliance with laws and guidelines
• Educate the organization on compliance responsibilities and policies
• Oversee monitoring and auditing of adherence to policies; develop corrective action plans
• Investigate violations and coordinate investigations; communicate findings to leadership and Board
