Job summary

Rocket Software Inc. is seeking a visionary Vice President, People Business Partners to lead a global PBP team and define vision, standards, and operating models for strategic partnership across the business.

You will partner with senior leaders to drive talent, design orgs, and optimize cost-to-performance while elevating employee engagement and agility. As a trusted advisor, you will translate enterprise people strategy into scalable solutions, shaping leadership effectiveness and workforce

Qualifications

15+ years of progressive People experience with strategic PBP background.
10+ years of senior or executive leadership experience.
Deep organizational development experience from PBP roles.
Proven success designing enterprise change initiatives.
Experience delivering team and organizational effectiveness programs.
Ability to influence and align across all levels.
Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills.
Strong program and project leadership with strategy-to-execution focus.
Experience in global, complex, evolving organizations.
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field.
Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and organizational integration.
Experience in enterprise software or global tech.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop the People Business Partner team, strengthening their ability to serve as proactive, strategic advisors and model clarity, empathy, trust, and accountability.
Build trusted relationships with executive leaders and align people priorities, programs, and investments with Rocket’s business strategy.
Partner with People Team COEs and business leaders to shape and deliver scalable people strategies, policies, and programs that support Rocket’s growth and transformation.
Advise and coach senior leaders on organizational effectiveness, leadership development, performance, employee engagement, capability building, and complex people matters.
Lead business level workforce planning and organizational design in partnership with business and Finance leaders, translating strategy into integrated plans for skills and capabilities, organizational structures, location and workforce footprint, and cost.
Provide counsel to business leaders and drive decisions that strengthen accountability, enable high performance, and deliver measurable workforce and talent outcomes.
Champion fresh ideas and lead initiatives that strengthen Rocket’s ability to attract, develop, engage, and retain talent while improving the employee experience.
Use people and business data, external insights, and sound judgment to identify trends, influence decisions, and balance client-group priorities with what is best for Rocket overall.
Design and facilitate effective working sessions that help leaders build alignment, make clear decisions, and move to action.
Continuously improve People Team service delivery by anticipating business needs, simplifying how work gets done, and building collaborative relationships across the organization.
