Job summary
Fluence seeks a seasoned Vice President of Software & Controls Engineering to lead the global software and controls engineering organization. You will shape the strategic direction for embedded software, BMS/EMS, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity across Fluence products, ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performance software platforms.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Master's degree, MBA, or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the long-term Software & Controls Engineering strategy aligned with BU strategy and technology roadmap.
- Establish global operating model, standards, governance, and capability roadmap.
- Lead and coordinate embedded software, BMS/EMS, Site Controller, SCADA, cloud apps, and digital product engineering.
- Drive Agile, DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and release management best practices.
- Own software lifecycle from conception to deployment and field support.
