Checkmate is seeking a high-visibility VP of Operations to lead post-sale services globally from the US and India. You will shape strategy, drive cross‑functional execution with Engineering, Product, and TAM teams, and own CSAT and operational performance.

The role requires hands‑on leadership, fast decision‑making, and a track record of scaling SaaS operations. You will mentor ~25+ staff across onboarding, menu management, and TAM, building scalable processes, playbooks, and automation to

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive operational leadership in tech/SaaS
• Experience leading US and India-based teams
• Strong technical aptitude interfacing with Engineering, Product, and TAM teams
• Experience in executive-level customer communication and crisis management
• Proven ability to use CSAT, SLAs, and onboarding metrics to drive performance

Responsibilities

• Define and execute operational strategy for post-sale service organization
• Lead and scale global team across onboarding, menu management, and TAM
• Optimize workflows to improve efficiency, speed, and consistency
• Own post-sale CSAT, service delivery metrics, and performance standards
• Act as executive sponsor for key customers and resolve complex issues
• Drive strategies to improve retention and time-to-value during onboarding
• Use AI-driven analytics to identify churn risks and reduce resolution times
• Build agents and workflow automations to gain efficiencies
• Oversee Technical Account Management to align with product capabilities
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product to translate feedback into features
