Job summary

Trane Technologies seeks a visionary VP of Operational Excellence to lead the global Business Operating System and lean transformation. You will shape standards for daily management, problem solving, flow design, and performance metrics across SBUs and plants.

The role focuses on delivering productivity gains, reducing costs, and expanding automation and digital tools while mentoring leadership across regions and functions.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive leadership in manufacturing or industrial operations.
• Experience scaling Lean operating systems across multiple plants.
• Ability to travel globally up to 25–30%.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern the Business Operating System (BOS) and lean capabilities across the global network.
• Set global standards for daily management, flow, problem solving, and standard work.
• Drive year-over-year productivity gains and COGS improvements.
• Partner with SBUs and plant leaders to improve OEE, throughput, and waste reduction.
• Lead the BOS architecture and governance, with measurable performance rhythms.
