Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an engineering leader to drive factory transformation and equipment implementation across production lines. You will lead initiatives to improve productivity, quality, energy efficiency, and downtime while complying with safety standards.

The role requires extensive manufacturing experience, strong problem-solving, and collaboration with design teams to enhance manufacturability. On-site work is expected with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required or strongly preferred.
• 5+ years engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with DFM/DFT principles and BOM management.

Responsibilities

• Lead factory transformation and equipment implementation to improve productivity, quality, energy efficiency and downtime.
• Conduct root cause investigations, statistical analyses and corrective action planning.
• Design and optimize manufacturing flow lines, workstation layouts and station controls.
• Establish and maintain manufacturing standards, process maps, routings and cycle times.
• Develop work instructions, job breakdowns and standardized work.
• Partner with on-site EHS to meet safety requirements and OSHA regulations.
• Apply DFM/DFT principles with design teams to improve manufacturability and testability.
• Develop, validate and document processes for SMT, soldering, AOI/X‑ray, conformal coating and final assembly.
