Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Global Vice President, Environmental, Health and Safety to lead the organization’s EHS strategy across both construction and operational environments. This remote executive role oversees safety performance, environmental compliance, and incident prevention while partnering with senior leadership and site teams.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in EHS leadership in high-risk settings, with CSP/CIH/NEBOSH certifications and ISO auditing experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience in data centers or high-risk construction environments.
• Certification CSP, CIH, NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent; Lead Auditor certification for ISO standards preferred.
• Deep expertise in high-risk activity management, particularly in electrical safety and confined space operations.
• Strong familiarity with contractor EHS management standards and environmental management frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the EHS management system across all phases of operations, ensuring compliance and incident prevention.
• Oversee EHS performance standards on construction sites, guiding contractors and subcontractors toward established benchmarks.
• Direct the application of high-risk activity programs and set safety readiness gates during critical phases.
• Manage the lifecycle of third-party workforce EHS compliance, from pre-qualification to performance assurance.
• Ensure environmental compliance across campuses with federal and state regulatory adherence.
• Develop and evolve emergency preparedness plans tailored to various risk profiles of construction and operational sites.
• Report on EHS performance to senior leadership, maintaining a focus on continuous improvement.
