Job summary

Fleet Data Centers is seeking a Global VP of Environmental, Health & Safety to lead the EHS program across construction and live operations at campuses nationwide. The role drives zero-incident goals, audit-ready compliance, and a scalable EHS management system.

Based in a remote-capable capacity, this senior leader will direct field Directors and Specialists, partner with Legal, Procurement, and Operations, and report to Fleet's executive team on risk, resourcing, and schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 12+ years of progressive EHS leadership, across multiple sites or high risk projects.
• CSP, CIH, NEBOSH or country equivalent certification.
• Experience with data center or mission-critical environments.
• Experience with Procore and EHS software platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction EHS across multiple campuses and GC/subcontractors.
• Oversee High-Risk Activity programs including heights, electrical work, and lifting.
• Own EHS policy, standards, and assurance framework globally.
• Direct KPI program and escalation for EHS performance.
• Coordinate reviews with vendor executives via Monthly Business Reviews.
• Maintain EHS risk assessments and bridging documents.
• Prepare emergency response and training initiatives.
