Job summary

USP is seeking a Volunteer Engagement Program Associate to support Expert Volunteers and Government Liaisons, ensuring compliant operations and delivering a seamless volunteer experience. You will manage engagement activities within the EVO framework and coordinate events with up to 400 attendees.

In this role you will collaborate with internal stakeholders, curate content, measure outcomes, and help develop inclusive, high‑performing volunteer programs within a hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3 years of professional experience in health or global science environment.
• 3 years of experience defining and executing strategy on large scale events.
• Experience developing and implementing strategies to enhance global volunteer experience and volunteer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Define, plan, and execute engagement events within approved budgets and strategic plans.
• Lead engagement for USP Expert Volunteers and Government Liaisons, supporting events with up to 400 attendees.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to incorporate diverse perspectives into engagement activities and events.
• Conceptualize and implement engagement activities, including content curation and multi-stakeholder dialogue.
• Measure volunteer engagement outcomes by setting objectives, tracking metrics, and adjusting as needed.
• Ensure meetings and events align with USP Core Values and maintain records and reporting accuracy.
