Job summary

Aquent Talent is partnering with a leading logistics and supply chain organization in Irvine, CA, to recruit a senior leader who will revolutionize vehicle logistics. You will drive data-driven decisions, optimize end-to-end planning, and mentor a growing team across Transportation, Planning, and Customer Service.

This role demands 10–15 years in relevant fields, strong forecasting, and mastery of advanced analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 10–15 years in logistics, demand planning, supply chain, network optimization, customer service, or performance management.
• Experience managing large-scale accounts.
• Experience in high-volume vehicle transportation logistics or similar environments.
• Deep experience with transportation networks including rail, truck, and port operations.
• 4–7 years of supervisory experience.
• Proven cross-functional leadership across teams.
• Strong forecasting and S&OP/IBP skills.
• Advanced Excel and data visualization proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead and integrate Logistics Planning, Demand Planning, Performance Management, and Customer Service into a cohesive function.
• Own end-to-end demand planning: forecasting, allocation planning, scenario modeling.
• Oversee vehicle flow planning and network design across transport modes.
• Define and govern enterprise KPIs and develop executive dashboards.
• Interface with operations, supply chain, sales, and clients to align priorities.
• Champion digital tools, automation, and predictive analytics.
• Provide performance trend analyses and data-driven recommendations.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, and Business Development teams.
• Identify cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
• Foster continuous learning and development within the team.
