Job summary

Stellantis Financial Services seeks a Vehicle Access Validation Lead to validate Vehicle Access components based on EE & Access test plans and procedures. You will lead a team across Detroit and India, developing robust test plans and collaborating with suppliers and cross-functional teams.

The role requires CAN tools expertise, ECUs, and scripting in CAPL/Python, with strong leadership and communication abilities to drive defect elimination and global compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical systems design, development, or test engineering.
• Experience with DFMEA and DVP&R processes.
• Trained in DVP (Design Validation Plan) and DFMEA (Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis).
• Experience with validation of complex systems and environmental testing.
• Familiarity with CAN bus and Vector CAN tools; ECU troubleshooting.
• CAPL scripting and Python programming experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a T&V team in developing core electrical test procedures and global test norms.
• Collaborate with suppliers, DREs, and cross-functional teams on issue management and testing.
• Review and approve test plans and reports to ensure complete coverage and compliance.
• Troubleshoot ECUs, System HIL, and testing environments to minimize false positives.
• Develop testing strategies to test vehicles more efficiently and comprehensively.
