Job summary

Stellantis Financial Services seeks a Senior Propulsion Controls Validation Engineer to drive validation across HIL and vehicle environments. You will execute DVPs, review requirements, and collaborate with design teams to refine tests, while troubleshooting to accelerate root-cause analysis.

You will mentor teammates, manage validation timelines, and document results to support issue resolution. Fluency in English and hands-on experience with HIL or vehicle platforms are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills with multi-project management.
• Effective team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Professional communication and presentation skills (verbal and written).
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Hil/vehicle platforms experience on-site and remotely.

Responsibilities

• Execute DVPs across HIL and vehicle testing environments to validate propulsion control systems.
• Review propulsion system requirements for clarity, completeness, and testability and ensure alignment with validation test cases.
• Identify gaps or inconsistencies in requirements and refine DVPs with design teams.
• Perform issue pre-analysis and troubleshooting to accelerate root-cause identification and resolution.
• Develop and execute edge-case and failure-mode test scenarios.
• Conduct testing on electrified and ICE propulsion system architectures using HIL rigs and test vehicles.
• Support OBD validation and diagnostic testing activities.
• Document test results, defects, and validation evidence for tracking and resolution.
• Independently manage validation activities, timelines, and deliverables.
• Provide informal mentoring and peer reviews of test strategies.
