Job summary

Stellantis in Michigan seeks an experienced embedded software test engineer to validate ECU software in Body and Propulsion domains. You will design, implement, and execute test cases using ECU Test and Control Desk, coordinating with virtual and physical test platforms and cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of automotive experience, hands-on embedded testing, and strong knowledge of CAN/CAN-FD, Ethernet, UDS/OBD, and ASPICE, with CI pipelines and defect-tracking experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, CE, EE or related field.
• 5+ years automotive experience including 3+ years embedded software testing.
• Hands-on testing of embedded software for automotive applications.
• Develop test cases, scripts, and test automation; debug with IDEs.
• Familiar with ASPICE, test reports, and reviews.
• Experience with CAN/CAN-FD, Ethernet, SOMEIP, LIN; UDS/OBD.
• Familiar with dSpace and Vector tools (CANoe, CANape).
• Defect management tools RTC, Jira; requirements tools DOORS Classic/DNG.
• Strong communication and cross-group collaboration.
