Job summary

Travelers is seeking an Account Executive (Global) to partner with agents and brokers in the United States, underwriting and selling tailored coverage. You will manage an assigned book of business, build strong relationships, and travel to key meetings to drive growth and profitability.

The role requires solid underwriting experience in commercial lines, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to identify cross-selling opportunities in collaboration with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3–5 years of underwriting experience in commercial lines.
• Strong knowledge of commercial lines products and the local insurance market.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• CPCU designation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage profitability, growth, and retention of an assigned book of business.
• Underwrite and negotiate accounts to minimize risk and maximize profitability.
• Cultivate relationships with internal partners and external agents/brokers to market and sell Travelers products.
• Travel to meetings with agents and brokers to write and retain accounts.
