Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Travel Operations Analyst within the Global Intelligence Operations (GIO) Center to support the Country Security Operations Center (CSOC). The role focuses on real-time travel visibility, incident assessment, and coordination for global employees and executives around the clock.

Responsibilities include monitoring traveler activity, escalating incidents, maintaining records, and coordinating with security teams to ensure duty of care.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in security operations, travel security, intelligence operations, or a related role.
• Experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or operations center environment.
• Ability to follow established processes while applying judgment within defined guidelines.
• Proven written and verbal communication skills suited to operational environments.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with time-sensitive information.
• Ability to work effectively in a shift-based, fast-paced operational setting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor global employee and executive travel activity using traveler tracking and travel security platforms.
• Maintain real-time awareness of global security, environmental, political, and operational events.
• Evaluate incidents affecting dynamic traveler populations and change in itineraries.
• Identify travelers impacted by incidents and initiate notifications or escalations.
• Review and document travel alerts and system notifications per procedures.
• Support executive travel movements through enhanced monitoring and coordination.
• Coordinate with protection teams and CSOC during routine and elevated situations.
• Assist with traveler outreach and location verification as directed.
• Provide traveler location and context to support incident response.
• Maintain thorough documentation of travel monitoring activities and incidents.
• Participate in shift handovers to ensure continuity.
• Prioritize tasks during high activity periods and escalate to leadership when needed.
