Job summary

UnitedHealth Group seeks an Intelligence Operations Analyst to provide real-time, all-source monitoring of global security events and deliver timely situational awareness to support decision-making. You will triage alerts, draft notifications, and coordinate with CSOC and security partners to ensure continuity.

Working in a fast-paced, in-person CSOC environment, you will handle disasters, threats, and incidents, while maintaining logs and contributing to after-action reviews.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a security operations center, intelligence, emergency management, international relations, or related field.
• Familiarity with OSINT sources, social media monitoring, and situational awareness tools.
• Proficiency with standard office tools (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Ability to rapidly review large volumes of information and identify actionable details.
• Strong written communication to summarize fast-moving situations clearly.
• Ability to remain calm, focused, and detail-oriented in high-tempo environments.
• Ability to work in a rotational, 24/7 shift schedule.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct real-time, all-source monitoring of global security events to identify incidents and risks with potential company impact.
• Triage incoming information and alerts, identifying relevant and actionable details affecting employees, facilities, or operations.
• Provide initial situational awareness and context for security incidents, including disasters and threats.
• Draft and disseminate timely incident notifications and updates per procedures.
• Maintain heightened monitoring during elevated threat periods with consistent escalation.
• Capture and maintain incident logs, alerts, and actions for continuity and after-action review.
• Collaborate with fusion center personnel and cross-functional stakeholders for information sharing.
• Support rotational shift coverage to ensure 24/7/365 monitoring.
