Job summary
American Express Global Business Travel is seeking experienced travel counselors to deliver end-to-end travel services from a home-based setup. You will support frontline operations, manage complex itineraries, and ensure high-touch service within a fast-paced environment.
Ideal candidates have 5+ years in travel consulting and strong GDS knowledge. This role offers weekend shifts and a 24/7 operation with flexible benefits and comprehensive US benefits.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of travel consulting and customer service experience.
- Advanced knowledge of global points of sale and international routings.
- Proficiency with Sabre or Amadeus and Office 365.
Responsibilities
- Provide frontline travel counselor support, guiding policy, ticketing and service.
- Prioritize workload and ensure SLAs are met.
- Train and monitor quality to maintain high service standards.
- Build strong relationships with team, leaders, clients, coordinators and suppliers.
- Resolve disruptions, exchanges, waitlists and complex fare issues.
- Share knowledge and updates; coach team members as needed.
- Create and maintain training materials and references.
- Book and manage global air, hotel, rail and ground travel bookings.
