Job summary

IGT is seeking a Transportation Specialist II in Reno to oversee the global movement of gaming products. You will coordinate domestic and international shipments, schedule services, and manage documentation to ensure timely deliveries and customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes collaboration across departments, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving in a dynamic environment, with a standard 8am–5pm schedule and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of domestic and/or international transportation and shipping experience.
• Collaborative approach with strong relationship-building in a team setting.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail with accuracy across tasks.
• Proactive problem-solving and decision-making in a dynamic environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and process shipments domestically and internationally, including returns to the Reno hub.
• Schedule transportation services, allocate drivers, and plan efficient global routes.
• Prepare and process transportation documentation per standards.
• Process UPS, FedEx, and DHL shipments for timely delivery.
• Work with freight forwarders to track shipments and handle customs requests.
• Oversee tracking and timelines, prioritizing urgent hot shipments for overnight delivery.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure same-day departure readiness.
