Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or related experience in logistics or supply chain management.
• 5+ years of transportation or logistics experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of OSHA and DOT compliance.
• Proven leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily domestic and international transportation operations across FTL, LTL, Small Parcel, Air, Ocean, and multimodal networks.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for transportation personnel.
• Coordinate transportation activities across distribution centers, manufacturing sites, logistics providers, and internal partners.
• Manage carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, parcel providers, and 3PLs to meet service, cost, and compliance goals.
• Monitor and analyze transportation KPIs and freight spend to drive improvements.
• Ensure compliance with domestic and international regulations and company policies.
• Lead process improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction and service enhancements.
• Develop contingency plans to minimize disruptions in supply chain operations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and transportation spend management for high-value projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategies and build organizational capability.
