Job summary

TransPerfect is seeking an Account Manager in the West Palm Beach area to develop new business relationships and serve as the first level of support for existing clients. You will research prospects, build customer data sets, and conduct outreach including cold calls and mailings.

You will liaise with production to ensure top quality and timely delivery while negotiating rates and deadlines. The role requires a minimum bachelor’s degree and strong English communication, with a proven sales track

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
• Excellent English communication (written and verbal) skills.
• Proven sales life cycle experience - lead generation through business closing.
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Effective time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Research prospective clients using internet research, trade show lists, referrals, yellow pages, professional directories and personal investigation.
• Create accurate spreadsheets of prospective client data including names, titles, phone numbers, addresses and other information.
• Generate daily mailings to prospective clients using updated spreadsheets.
• Cold call prospective clients.
• Collaborate with production to ensure jobs are handled accurately and with attention to detail.
• Negotiate rates and deadlines with prospective and current clients.
• Educate prospective and existing clients regarding the translation process, rates, turnaround times, and competitors’ information.
• Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction with delivery, quality and service.
• Research and understand all industries TransPerfect markets to, including leaders and current events.
• Perform other special projects or duties when required.
