Job summary

Transdev is seeking a Global Training Manager in San Francisco to lead the design, launch, and auditing of nationwide and international training programs. You will supervise a dispersed team, ensure training quality, and drive certification across markets.

The role demands strong leadership, collaboration with operations, and travel to new locations as needed. Qualified candidates have 3+ years in management and training, a BS/BA or equivalent experience, and proficiency with GSuite.

Qualifications

• 3+ years management experience.
• 3+ years training experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• BS/BA degree or 4 years of relevant job experience.
• Proficiency with GSuite apps (Gmail, Hangouts, and Driver, including Sheets and Docs).
• Proficiency with using a touchscreen smartphone.
• Previous Public Safety, Emergency and or traffic management experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly support startup, launch and auditing of training programs within the US and partner countries
• Develop bespoke training plans and pathways for local operational needs and constraints
• Travel to new locations to lead training start-up, and collaborate with local experts on content updates and creation
• Responsible for training quality, and implementation in new markets
• Lead certification of new Defensive Driving programs
• Lead a dispersed team of travelers to ensure supply plan is met
• Build training trackers, ensure tracking of training pathways, report training progress to internal and external stakeholders
• Onboard and train new hire staff at all levels and role types
• Audit country performance and processes; identify gaps and support counties to define corrective actions to completion, track issues resolutions
• Standardize processes, reporting, and operating rhythms between international markets and the U.S.
• Oversee AVTS job functions to support business training needs
• Verification of training needs and insurance of updated training plans
• Communication training plans with WaymoU team
• Oversee Transdev training events
• Verification of booking of needed training facilities
• Verify required vehicles are available and reserved
• Verification of Instructional team SOP and training compliance
• All other duties as assigned
