Job summary

Optimum seeks an experienced Manager, Training Delivery to oversee design, development, and delivery of learning solutions across Customer Care. The role drives onboarding, upskilling, and leadership development, applying advanced adult-learning principles for dispersed and international audiences.

The candidate will lead vendor-based instructional design teams, partner with operations and SMEs, and translate complex processes into effective learner experiences that align with business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field and broad experience in instructional design.
• Progressive experience leading people, projects, or design teams in instructional design.
• Masters preferred in learning, education, or organizational development aligned with enterprise training.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end curriculum strategy, including performance and needs analysis, learning architecture, design, development, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
• Apply adult learning theory and performance-based practices to create accessible, engaging, job-applicable experiences.
• Design for international audiences including localization needs and regional operating differences.
• Lead, coach, and quality-manage internal and vendor instructional designers and learning specialists.
• Partner with vendor operations to design role-specific programs for frontline employees, supervisors, and leaders.
• Create blended learning solutions across ILT, VILT, eLearning, simulations, and mobile learning.
