Optimum Communications Inc. is seeking an experienced Instructional Design Manager in Plano, TX to lead design, development, and evaluation of learning solutions for Customer Care and Customer Retention.

You will own onboarding, upskilling, reskilling, and leadership development, applying advanced adult learning principles for global audiences. The role requires leading vendor-based instructional design teams, partnering with operations and SMEs, and delivering measurable learning outcomes that

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in ID, Adult Learning, or related field.
Progressive experience in instructional design and leading teams.
Mastery of adult learning principles for diverse audiences.
Experience designing for international or distributed customer care teams.
Experience managing vendor-supported design teams.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end curriculum strategy, including analysis, design, development, and evaluation.
Apply adult learning theory and performance-based learning practices to create practical experiences.
Design for international audiences with localization and cultural considerations.
Coach and quality-manage internal and vendor designers; set standards and governance.
Partner with operations and SME to identify performance gaps and prioritize investments.
Create blended learning solutions across ILT, VILT, eLearning, and mobile formats.
Translate complex products and policies into learner-friendly content tied to outcomes.
Ensure measurable impact using data, KPIs, and stakeholder feedback.
Maintain brand voice, quality, and learner experience across programs.
Manage multiple projects with timelines and risks in a fast-paced environment.
Evaluate emerging learning tech to improve speed and scalability.
