Job summary

Sanhua International is seeking an Import & Export Specialist to coordinate day-to-day import and export operations from our Houston office. You will work closely with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure timely processing of shipments and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of import/export experience, with strong MS Office skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
3+ years of experience in import/export shipping and customs clearance.
Knowledge of basic U.S. import/export processes and international shipping terms.

Responsibilities

Document Handling: receive, review, and submit import documents for air and ocean shipments to customs brokers.
Customs Clearance: review details to ensure accurate clearance with brokers.
Invoice Management: submit import/export invoices and duty payments into OA system.
Export Coordination: support export shipments with freight forwarders and export declarations.
Shipment Tracking: provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
Project Support: assist with import/export projects.
Additional Responsibilities: support broader customer service duties as needed.
