Univar Solutions USA Inc. seeks a Director of International Trade Services to lead import and export operations across North and South America and oversee a team of 30–45 employees. You will drive compliance, budget performance, partner satisfaction and growth initiatives while directing capital and personnel resources.

You will set strategic direction, optimize processes, and collaborate with executives to expand service capabilities and ensure safe, compliant operations.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree required, with preference for concentration in business administration, supply chain/logistics, engineering or economics.
• Masters' degree with similar concentration, a plus.
• 5+ years in global / international trade operations, including responsibility for import and/or export for North America locations.
• 5+ years leading operational personnel with direct accountability for hiring, development, performance management and termination processes.
• 3+ years operational facility management and leadership.
• 3+ years managing 3rd party partners for ocean carriage, freight forwarding, customs house brokerage & other operational support partners.
• Certifications in; IATA, Export Trade Certificate (ETCA), NCBFAA Certifications (CCS, CES, MES), among others, is a plus.

• Integrate disaggregated import and export operations and related functions into one cohesive operating unit.
• Develop streamlined processes and improved workflows to deliver operational excellence.
• Develop annual strategic plans, operating budget plans and CAPEX budget plans.
• Identify opportunities to innovate to increase partner value in handling international trade activities.
• Identify opportunities for growth into new markets by streamlining operations and leveraging personnel.
• Provide leadership that inspires and supports the International Trade Services team to stretch capabilities.
• Collaborate with executive management to achieve organizational goals.
• Encourage and inspire safety culture.
