Job summary

ABB is seeking a skilled professional to lead local import/export operations in a hybrid US role. You will supervise customs brokers, ensure compliant trade activities and maintain documents and regulatory knowledge.

The position emphasizes accuracy, timely execution and strong collaboration with project teams and site management. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in logistics, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in operational and logistic management.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel ~20%.
• Trade compliance and international shipping experience a must.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary point of contact for customs brokers for clarifications on valuation/classification.
• Audit brokers for accuracy of customs entries, invoicing and archiving.
• Prepare and manage documentation for compliant import/export activities.
• Maintain knowledge of import/export laws, tariffs, licenses and restrictions.
