Expeditors in Irving, TX seeks a Trade Compliance Coordinator to ensure efficient movement of goods worldwide and maintain regulatory compliance. You will interface with customers, freight forwarders and customs authorities to coordinate imports and exports onsite.

The role requires 1–3 years in customs operations, a bachelor’s degree, and strong communication and problem-solving skills. You will monitor compliance, manage documentation, and support continuous improvement across the compliance

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience.
• 1-3 years in customs compliance operations or import/export operations.
• Understanding of international trade and incoterms and impacts to supply chain.
• Knowledge of international air and ocean transport logistics processes.
• Excellent customer service, negotiation and clear communication.

Responsabilidades

• Build customer relationships and provide excellent customer service.
• Identify issues affecting customer satisfaction and propose solutions.
• Monitor ticketing system for customs compliance requests and resolve quickly.
• Ensure 100% adherence to laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Verify and review shipping documents for import/export compliance.
• Gather and evaluate regulatory information impacting supply chain.
• Advise customers on import/export restrictions.
• Track operational metrics and meet SLAs.
• Identify gaps and suggest process improvements.
• Stay up to date on regulatory requirements and best practices.
