Qualifications

• Significant experience with US export controls and sanctions programs.
• Experience with trade compliance program development and improvement.
• Ability to develop and implement process improvements including deployment of automated tools and workflows and willingness to leverage AI enhancements to improve efficiency.
• Prior experience with scoping and conducting internal audits and assessments and developing and tracking corrective actions.
• Experience with trade compliance integration for acquired companies, including export control and sanctions list screening requirements.
• Familiarity with export classification processes, encryption controls and ITAR a plus.
• Experience in the software, cloud services, IT sector or manufacturing sector is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Help develop and implement proactive strategies, processes, and workflows to ensure compliance with laws, regulations and internal policies.
• Lead the export classification workflow and documentation process with cross-functional teams.
• Assist with program risk assessments and compliance project planning.
• Maintain and update policies and work instructions; create new procedures as needed.
• Lead audit and risk assessment planning and execution with Legal and stakeholders.
• Develop annual trade compliance training plan and training materials; track attendance.
• Coordinate with teams on M&A integration planning and execution.
