Job summary

AWS is seeking an experienced Global Trade Compliance Program Manager to strengthen our controls and oversight for global import/export matters in Arlington, VA.

The role focuses on using technology and data to scale validations, building a best-in-class internal review program, and partnering with Legal, Tax, Supply Chain, and Engineering.

You will collaborate with diverse teams and external stakeholders to drive compliant trade operations and continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Supply Chain, Business, Engineering) or equivalent.
• Experience with data analytics platforms (Power BI, Python, SQL, Tableau).
• Experience working cross functionally across several teams.
• Experience in customs or trade compliance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and define plans to advance AWS' internal validations program.
• Build communications and training plans for internal/external partners on trade controls.
• Manage global import/export regulatory changes and communicate impact to stakeholders.
• Develop data-informed metrics and monitor for actionable insights to improve trade controls.
