Job summary

Holistic Partners, Inc. in East Aurora, NY is seeking a Global Trade Compliance Manager on a hybrid schedule with relocation assistance provided by the client.

The role focuses on US and international trade compliance leadership and cross-functional coordination. You will liaise with the SDG Regional Trade Compliance Manager and teams across Business Development, Supply Chain, Contracts, Engineering, and Finance to implement licenses and control plans for defense programs.

Qualifications

• 7 years of direct export/import experience.
• 3 years in program/project management.
• Preference for candidates with manufacturing experience.
• Familiarity with U.S. Trade Compliance in a defense technology environment.
• SME in ITAR, EAR, ATF and OFAC regulations.
• Experience with trade tools SAP, GTS, OCR EASE, SNAP-R, DECCS and ATF submission processes.
• Proficiency with PM tools MS Project/Planner, Azure Dev Ops/Jira, PowerPoint and data/BI tools.

• Liaise between the SDG Regional Trade Compliance Manager and a global network of stakeholders.
• Craft and submit license applications/authorizations for the Defense Division.
• Implement Technology Control Plans and ensure compliance across functions.

Job Title: Global Trade Compliance Manager

Location: East Aurora, New York (Hybrid Schedule) (Relocation assistance provided by client)

Job Category: Legal – Regulatory / Compliance Law

• You will also serve as the liaison between the SDG Regional Trade Compliance Manager and a diverse global network of stakeholders, within functions such as Business Development, Supply Chain, Contracts, Engineering, and Finance.
• Ideally, you will have a strong background in both U.S. and Global Trade laws
• Craft and submit to the US government, and for the implementation of complex license applications / authorizations and Technology Control Plans for the Defense Division.

Qualifications

• 7 years of direct experience with export / import tasks and regulations
• 3 years in program/project management.
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated familiarity, with preference for prior experience applying Trade Compliance requirements in a defense technology environment.
• Demonstrated Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in U.S. Export / Import regulations including, but not limited to the ITAR, EAR, ATF and OFAC. SME International Trade Compliance experience a plus.
• Experience w/ Trade specific tools SAP, GTS, OCR EASE, SNAP-R, DECCS, and ATF electronic submission process.
• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g. MS Project / Planner, Azure Dev Ops / Jira, PowerPoint and data / BI tools (e.g. Excel, power BI/Tableau).
