Job summary

Veracity Ventures Inc. in East Aurora, NY is seeking a Global Trade Compliance Manager for the Commercial Aircraft Group. You will lead trade compliance strategies for domestic and international opportunities, coordinating with Business Development, Supply Chain, Contracts, Engineering and Finance.

The role requires strong knowledge of U.S. export/import regimes (ITAR, EAR, ATF, OFAC), plus hands-on program management, documentation discipline, and cross-cultural communication to support

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 7+ years of direct export/import tasks and regulations.
• 3+ years of program/project management experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. Export/Import regulations including ITAR, EAR, ATF, OFAC.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement across cultures and time zones.
• Strong verbal communication and training skills.
• Solid documentation and issue/action tracking discipline.
• Experience with ERP and trade compliance tools (SAP, GTS, OCR EASE, SNAP-R, DECCS, ATF submission).
• Proficient with MS Project/Planner, Azure DevOps/Jira, PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI/Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Participate in business development and leadership meetings.

• Apply trade compliance knowledge in aerospace manufacturing.
• Obtain and document commodity and technology classifications.
• Support investigations and trade-related projects.
• Develop and submit complex licenses to the U.S. government.
• Develop and implement TCPs for the Commercial Aircraft Group.
• Provide trade compliance guidance to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Train and communicate trade requirements organization-wide.
• Maintain rigorous documentation and follow-through on issues.

Global Trade Compliance Manager - Commercial Aircraft Group

Summary

The Global Trade Compliance Manager will join the Global Trade Compliance team as a dedicated internal stakeholder supporting the Commercial Aircraft Group (CAG). This role will work directly with the business on domestic and international opportunities, developing trade compliance strategies and solutions while ensuring compliance with applicable trade laws and regulations.

The manager will serve as a liaison between the Aircraft Regional Trade Compliance Manager and stakeholders across Business Development, Supply Chain, Contracts, Engineering, and Finance. The role requires strong communication, project management, prioritization, and stakeholder engagement skills across diverse cultures and time zones.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of U.S. and global trade laws, particularly ITAR, EAR, ATF, and OFAC, combined with the ability to develop knowledge of international trade regulations as required.

Key Responsibilities

• - Participate in business development, defense strategy, and senior leadership meetings.
• - Work directly with the Commercial Aircraft Group to develop trade-related solutions supporting domestic and international business opportunities.
• - Research and recommend trade parameters for conducting business in countries outside the host country.
• - Guide the business on trade compliance requirements associated with new locations.
• - Collect and prioritize high-volume trade-related requirements resulting from business meetings and discussions.
• - Coordinate with the Group Trade Compliance Team to obtain required trade compliance authorizations in a timely manner.
• - Develop metrics and automation to improve trade compliance processes.
• - Support the Global Trade Compliance Director with acquisitions and divestitures.
• - Prioritize trade requirements with the Global Trade Compliance Director and Group Trade Compliance Manager.
• - Apply trade compliance knowledge within a commercial aerospace manufacturing environment.
• - Obtain, facilitate, perform, document, and record commodity and technology classifications using authorized systems.
• - Support investigations, projects, and other trade-related issues.
• - Develop and submit complex license applications and authorizations to the U.S. government.
• - Develop and implement Technology Control Plans (TCPs) for the Commercial Aircraft Group.
• - Provide trade compliance guidance to cross-functional stakeholders.
• - Train, educate, and communicate trade compliance requirements across the organization.
• - Maintain rigorous documentation and follow-through on trade compliance issues and actions.

Required Qualifications

• - Typically Bachelor’s degree.
• - 7+ years of direct experience with export/import tasks and regulations.
• - 3+ years of program/project management experience.
• - Strong subject matter expertise in U.S. Export/Import regulations, including: ITAR, EAR, ATF, OFAC
• - Strong stakeholder engagement skills across diverse cultures and time zones.
• - Strong verbal communication, training, listening, and educational skills.
• - Strong documentation and issue/action tracking discipline.
• - Experience working with ERP and trade compliance tools such as: SAP, GTS, OCR EASE, SNAP-R, DECCS, ATF electronic submission processes
• - Proficiency with project management and data tools such as: MS Project / Planner, Azure DevOps / Jira, PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI / Tableau
• - Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, potentially twice per month.
• - Must live locally to the Buffalo, NY area to work onsite as required.
