AeroVironment, Inc. in Manassas, VA is seeking a Trade Compliance Officer to lead day-to-day export compliance activities and ensure adherence to ITAR, EAR, and internal policies across the organization.

You will oversee licensing, risk assessments, training, and cross-functional coordination with Security, Purchasing, Contracts, Legal, and external consultants to maintain a robust compliance program.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with strong export control background.
• 12+ years of export administration experience in aerospace/defense.
• Experience with ITAR/EAR, export licensing and cross-functional collaboration.

Aufgaben

• Oversee licensing compliance and coordinate with security, purchasing, contracts, and legal.
• Perform self-assessments and advise on corrective actions for risk mitigation.
• Lead annual risk assessments per DDTC guidelines.
• Collaborate with outside TC consultants, auditors and counsel.
• Maintain Trade Compliance records and training logs.
• Guide international business development and program management in trade compliance.
• Train employees and audit adherence to company procedures.
